This site is dedicated to supporting online entrepreneurs. The goal is to provide useful web-related tools and information in a user-friendly format to enhance knowledge and save time... and maybe even a little money. The Internet continues to evolve at a breakneck pace making it tough to keep up with the latest trends and business strategies. For the majority of entrepreneurs, it’s particularly challenging because day-to-day business activities gobble up most of our precious time leaving little for learning and innovating.
While website and blog design services are also offered here, the primary mission is researching and sharing information and quality products and services that help online businesses succeed. That part of this site, The RVC Blog, is in its infancy but will soon include screencasts and videos in addition to relevant articles. Hopefully, you will stop back and visit as the site evolves.
Robert V. Connelly Jr.
The resume of Robert Connelly Jr. includes over 23 years of project management experience in the hospitality industry, all of which involved technology. Bob worked for large and mid-sized hotel and casino companies and a couple of suppliers to that industry as well. As a project manager, his travels took him to Australia and New Zealand and many interesting places throughout the United States.
Before striking out on his own, Bob's last role as an employee involved a joint venture between two companies that patented and developed an innovative platform which combined internet communication, wireless technology, payment card processing, point-of-sale devices, and slot machines. That was a wild six-year ride and it gave him the impetus to do something innovative and rewarding on his own.
Originally from Staten Island, New York, Bob has lived in Last Vegas, Reno, Atlantic City and Los Angeles. He has been a resident of Southern Nevada for over a decade now and has become partial to places that have sunshine over 300 days a year.
As you may have noticed, the acronym for this site (RVC) matches his initials but it wasn’t named with him in mind. He is a "Jr". This website and blog were named in honor of his dad. Retired for a number of years now, Bob’s father was a very successful entrepreneur in the air cargo business in the early years of that industry. Those were the days when teletypes and carbon paper were cutting edge technology. Bob Sr. was a leader in his industry and a great role model for any entrepreneur, online or offline.
